Joni, the plants arrived Monday in perfect condition, the heat packs were still slightly warm. They're really nice hoyas, thanks.

I was going to email you just now to let you know that I did pick up my stuff yesterday. I thought for sure all 8 plants wood be in bad shape because Tuesday was a Holiday and the PO was closed for the day and my plants were inside getting cold. I was surprised to see no causalities! They looked very cold and good idea to send them on the dry side at this time of year as there was less chance for rot. I placed the new ones on heated mats with warm air temps and humidity. I did cut some yellow leaves off the H orange acanthrostemma but I heard that they don not travel well but do pick-up. The plant has a good root system and will make new leaves very soon. I was surprised how well they traveled here for this time of year and having to wait a day extra for pick-up.

I received my plants yesterday - made me SO happy for the holiday. The plants look very happy and healthy. I love them!! I can't wait for see them bloom. :-)

I was a little nervous whether the cuttings would arrive OK due to plane delays from Sandy, but they arrived just fine. And glorious peduncles - THANK YOU!! I got them today, they look nice. I'm hoping they didn't get too cold in delivery. All of a sudden it got really cold here, it was only 9 degrees this morning.

I very gently held each leaf between the palms of my hand (like the little ones when they used to come in from playing outdoors in the winter... and their hands were sooo cold!)... I lightly spritzed them with tepid/barely warm water and put them in the back of the "seniors" at the window... so light but not direct sun... and the lovely presence of other similar "energies"!... went back to work and at 5:00 finally removed the tape that kept them in the pots!...
