slow growing but really nice - likes a little extra moisture and neglect - bloomed in the first year for me when the days began to shorten - very strong scent and many peduncles in bloom over about a two week period - a strong grower
"A charming collision of tough woody vines and sweet boat-shaped leaves, both so furry it seems more mammal than plant. The heavily spotted foliage emerges as soft as a lamb’s ear then hardens so startlingly it seems to have petrified." - JLD
